Apophysis 2.0 with the flame exporter as the renderer at my usual rendering quality settings.
There were long lines similar to his anal probe in the original Apophysis render, but they weren't in his hands, so I basically cut and pasted one from the original render into the final picture. I'd do more with it, but I wanted the fractal to show....the "body" of the yellow alien basically came out completely in Apophysis. Took some triangle-putzing to get it Just So, but I'm happy with my first try on this kind of thing.  Enjoy.
