This idea's been kicking around for a while--actually ever since I was a kid. The idea was that perhaps the Star Wars universe could support a female counterpart to Darth Vader. Similar type of injuries, similar life-support, similar gone-off-the-Dark-End-Of-The-Force evilness....just a different gender.

Maybe someday I'll come up with a story surrounding her, but for now here's the picture. Basically her look is based off Vader's suit with more feminine curves and styles to it. And I figured no female Dark Jedi would deal with a suit like that unless it came with a proper hairpiece (hence her crazy hair)... :D Instead of the classic mask/helmet deal.

Drew it all in Photoshop 7.0 with digital tablet and pen. Most of the coloring's been done the same way. (As you can guess, PaintCan doesn't do a perfect job with line art that complex...) The only thing really filtered is the background behind her (Difference Clouds and her glowy aura type thing's from Eye Candy's Corona). The rest is just hand work with Lighten, Burn/Dodge, and Paintbrush. So if you want to talk about brushwork in this one, rest assured there's plenty of it. :D

I've got to say her hair and armor probably came out the best looking. Not as happy about her one eye, but it's there. *shrugs*

Now I'm not sure if this would be called mature content, because her face is pretty scarred, but still recognizable as a face. I'm going to err on the side that as long as she's fully clothed, it's viewable by everyone, all right? (Staff, feel free to correct me on that, since the scars could be considered a little graphic...?)

Ok, comments, thoughts, ideas? If anybody wants me to draw this woman in a saber duel with a Jedi, do please let me know. I'll probably want to do it anyways--she seems to have an interesting story to her. :)

Enjoy.

Frickin' awesome. I absolutely adore her hair beyond all reason, you did a fantastic job on that.
Thanks, glad you liked the hair. That was the most fun part to do, besides all the gleamy stuff on her armor. :D Gotta say, always loved drawing hair and hairstyles and crap. Just...fun. :P
Wow its great! I love the hair colours! :D
Yay! You went with the hair plan I suggested! :boogie:

But yeah, It's considered non-mature as long as they're not nude or leaking ten gallons of blood everywhere...

You'd expect me to put something clever and witty down here wouldn't you? Well? Surprised?

Guess not.
Thanks. Glad you liked it so much. Man, I STILL wish Lucas had tried for female Sith. He's had a few chances, and still no female Darths. What, are women immune to the Dark Side or something? Sounds like the Sith could've been wiped out by a few women Jedi at that rate. :lmao:

Years are like fractals. The more you've seen of them, the more you appreciate the details of each one, rather than how many you've seen.
wow i like it a lot and i agree the only flaw is the eye but i love the hair it sucked me in from first glance i adore it i think ur great and i agree with woman should be sith....cuz woman can be more ruthless and cunning and just a better assassin.... me and a friend are thinking about making our own little star wars sith story and so far its kinda cool when we discuss plot and stuff but i already mentioned to him we should put a suductive kickass chick who is one of the best sith ever, and my rival assassin to our lord my friend[link]
Love
Hehehe, good ideas there. :) Have fun with the story.
