Another of my serial "rectangle-covered bubble" pieces via the Apo 3D hack. This one was actually inspired by looking at my last one and wondering what happened if I put a bubble, and then layers of rectangle-spread bubbles on top, like the layers of an onion.

So there you have it...after messing about with the Julia variations and liking what I saw. I tried a bunch of other gradients, but nothing seemed to quite show this fractal's features like a high-intensity full-spectrum gradient. Like, say, ApoMap's default spectrum gradient. I guess next time I'll actually, like, use ApoMap's gradients properly.

This one took about 18 hours as well, since I've been jacking quality waaaay up. So far, it's paying off nicely.

EDIT: Thank you to ^Sophquest for the Daily Deviation! Also, thanks to anyone who will comment in the next day or so, since I may not get back to you personally. Wow! What a way to start my morning!

Trust me when I say... Take the FULL VIEW of FULL SPECTRUM by ~DeepChrome! It is a neon blast of bursting bubbles! This Apo 3D Hack render is pure perfection. And after the... 18 hours it took to complete it, you've got to see this fractal up close to truly appreciate it! (Featured by `Sophquest)

Wow.

Such a different take from your recent two submissions.

Feels to me like disco time in the tropical rainforest

The colours are so vibrant and the shapes remind me of exotic flora.

Thank you. :D

I have another one I just finished rendering (another 18-hour haul with the computer), that I'll put up tonight.

After that, I may head in another direction with 3D Apo altogether and try some new stuff.

Years are like fractals. The more you've seen of them, the more you appreciate the details of each one, rather than how many you've seen.

Thank you. Coming from a fractalist who sure knows how to use color, that's quite a compliment.

Yeah I went with the bold spectrum becuase no other colors looked right on the thing. I tried, and then was like "screw it, bust out the high-saturation spectrum again."

Thank you. :)

And yeah, you could say it has a disco thing going. The spheres look almost like holographic disco balls, don't they? :D "Dance with me Obi-Wan Kenobi! You're the only one without two left feet!" ;P

Wow! It looks like someone has placed neon lights in that watering pond with those flowers there!=D

Thank you. :D Yeah, acid-trip lily pad came to mind when I was working on it. I almost titled it Acid Trip except I have a really old fractal that looked like mushrooms titled that.

Aww, thank you. I don't consider myself one, but thank you anyways. :)
