I said back over in AI Spuddies that Smith and SHODAN would make a homicidally cute couple. :D They both despise humans with quite the passion, and they both would be just happy killing them all. What can I say, I just have a fascination with killer AI's right now.

And I said I'd draw them together. SO here you go. Smith x Shodan. I have a feeling this is the only piece that's got this particular ship, cause people are still putting SHODAN with GLaDOS, and what the- Hal is in no way a good fit, he's too damn calm! (Oh and wait till SHODAN finds out about Caroline? That is not going to end well, peoples!)

Well, here you go. It's 4:45 AM. SHODAN was a pain in the ASS to get the way she is there - I had to redo her face about 3 times. I am obviously a sucker for artistic punishment just for letting myself even do this. Would you believe Smith over there got drawn and nicely arranged in like, 1/10th the time as SHODAN? Yeah, really. She's even an evil one to just draw thankyouverymuch.

Anyways, not doing this again.

SHODAN is copyright Irrational Games and Looking Glass Studios, and Smith is copyright the Wachowskis.

And my gawd does he look ever so homicidally happy! :D

And now I'd better get back to Portal before GLaDOS finds out about this and I end up testing for three decades just for drawing another AI. Good grief what have I gotten int--oh crud I think I hear her now.

*RUNS*

About 2 hours in Photoshop CS3 with a 21-inch Cintiq. WHEE.

Just one more thing, before I go - SHODAN does not hate humans, nor does she want to destroy them like Smith does. She wants to CONQUER them - she wants them replaced with her cybernetic children, yes, but she see them as inferiors to be pushed aside by their new God. And yes, she's got an ego so big that she's convinced that she's God by her genetic manipulations. Go look up her 'In my talons, I shape clay' speech sometime, it'll give you a good insight into her character.

(Always figured SHODAN would rather violently dump GLaDOS once she found out about Caroline. Whether or not Aperture would survive said dumping is...a good question. >_>:;)

Smith must've done some serious mucking about to win over SHODAN. He looks exactly like a human and she absolutely despises humans.

But he isn't human, and we know this. :D Shodan's image, mind, is still recognizable as a human woman, so clearly the homicidal AI's have their own hypocrisy. (Which GLaDOS and Hal laugh at in secret cause neither one has a "human" shape or face.)
