HOWEVER... Very nice. I enjoy the way that it pulls the eye from the center out toward the edges. I also like the way that it can be reflected or something and still be really similar. Brain freeze, so i can't think for the life of me what that's called. Anyways, the only thing that i would like to see different about this pic is a different background. Maybe stars or something. While the black does enhance it, i think it would be a lot more exciting or something if there was something going on, even ever so slightly, behind it. My opinion, though, don't listen if you don't want to, after all, you're the artist!  -- I may not be able to produce it, but by god I can tell you you're doing it wrong.  man that is a sweet piece! It just sorta pokes out of the screen.

Those colours work awesomely together. It looks like some sort of door lock you'd find in some bizzaro Tolkien/Rowling world. And that border surrounding the circle? It looks fantastic. Symmetry at it's finest. Great job.   --  We cross our bridges when we come to them and burn them behind us, with nothing to show for our progress except a memory of the smell of smoke, and a presumption that once our eyes watered.  I agree with the comment on the background. Have you tried a different approach?
