Haven't done one of those funky titles in a while. :XD: Title's a pun on the words color and spectacular. :shrug: Maybe a little corny, but it fit.

The off-center composition is an homage to =silwenka. I've wanted to do one of those for a while, but I just didn't see a fractal I felt I could do that with...until now. It just happened to look right for that kind of composition. Didn't think I'd get it with a rotational, but everything just seemed to click with this kind of positioning, so off and away I rendered it.

Rendered in a composition very close to this one in Apophysis 2.03a. Cropped the edges a little--no postwork besides a subtle bit of blur in one spot--and did the border and title as well.

very nice. I would say that there's a little too much black space at the bottom of the picture, but other than that, it's very stunning.

Thanks. I kept trying to crop a little of the bottom, but not so much that I lost the composition's effect. I think next time I'll try it with less black space. Thanks again. :) Glad you liked those parts that appealed to you.

Heh. I was just thinking that the off-center composition was what really pulled this together, and then I read your comment.

Also, I don't think the title is corny. I didn't catch the 'spectacular' pun (though this fractal is), I thought it was spectrum + color.

But, overall, the vibrant colors, smooth lines, and great off-center composition made me notice this one while scanning the 'browse' page. Excellent work; keep it up!
