Ensign Beryl

This is the fanart that inspired the Bene Gesserit Tempo piece: Jim Francis' (~AriochIV ) Outsider character Beryl as a lovely Ensign from the Original Trek series. With a tribble. With a happy expression of frightening proportions.

(Beryl is a Loroi, who are literally blue-blooded, so she blushes blue rather than pink. Just...FYI.)

I lost track of how much time this one took. I figure, given the rough-drawing, the lineart and its cleanup, and then the colors, around 3.5 hours.

The usual tools of my choosing: Photoshop CS3, and a Wacom 6x8 Intuos3 tablet.
